MICHELIN PILOT SPORT 4 S TIRES

The special Pilot Sport® 4 S tire* that Michelin® developed for the RC F has a bespoke mold design. The cross-section of the carcass was improved to provide more uniform contact-patch pressures under the different actions of braking and cornering. This distinct tire resulted in better dry traction, and a lap time that is up to one second quicker on our development circuit when compared to the standardized test vehicle.
